I was very happy and honoured to be chosen to take part in the Women on Top night at the LGBT Foundation in Manchester, part of the Sugar and Spice weekend celebrating International Women's Day.
I enjoyed reading a selection of my poems and got some lovely feedback. Seeing the other acts - poets, comedians and musicians - was also wonderful. Overall, it was a great night and I hope to continue sharing my poetry through readings.
